12/24/2023 0 Comments World of warcraft sylvanas![]() The members of the Forsaken have a simple task - to massacre any who pose a threat to the new order, human, undead or otherwise. Harboring no true loyalty for their new allies, they go to any lengths to ensure their dark plans come to fruition. Convinced that the primitive races of the Horde can help them achieve victory over their enemies, the Forsaken have entered an alliance of convenience. Though the very land is cursed, the zealous humans of the Scarlet Crusade still cling to their scattered holdings, obsessed with the eradication of the undead and retaking their homeland. This hidden Undercity forms a sprawling labyrinth that stretches beneath the haunted woods of the Tirisfal Glades. With Sylvanas as their banshee queen, the Forsaken have built a dark stronghold beneath the ruins of Lordaeron's capital city. Known by some as the Forsaken, this group fights a constant battle not only to retain its freedom from the Scourge, but also to slaughter those who would hunt them as monsters. Led by the banshee, Sylvanas Windrunner, a group of renegades broke away from the Scourge and freed themselves from the Lich King's domination. To be fair, the fact that she is even being discussed right now tells me that she's a good character.īound to the iron will of the tyrant Lich King, the vast undead armies of the Scourge seek to eradicate all life on Azeroth. She's not concerned with being politically correct or jumping through PC hoops and she doesn't care about your boxes when she does it. She does what she wants when she wants to. She doesn't care about whether or not you think she's "evil". Her alliances are alliances of convenience. She might do it overtly or she might do it covertly but she will do it. She'll level anyone and anything that gets in the way of her goals. She doesn't care what you or the horde or anyone else think. Why do I like Sylvanas? I like her because she's raw. That line could be applied to any character they've written. Whether or not the writers are good and can tell a consistent story isn't Sylvanas' fault. She had her own goals, then she didn't, was controlled by the Jailer, then not controlled again, but then controlled, yet not completely. So what was good about her story? How do you defend that? Her story is heavily disjointed, full of contradictions, even more so if you include the books.
